Written from operating and development evidence. Adapt the principles to the risk, authority and scale of your own system.

Audit the arrival promise

Compare each advertisement or campaign with the page it opens. The room type, dates, package, location context and direct-booking reason should agree. A visitor should not have to translate a broad hotel homepage into the specific offer they clicked.

Make the mobile decision route complete

Check real devices for media weight, room comparison, inclusions, policies, map context and a visible next step. Treat WhatsApp, call, enquiry and booking as separate routes with clear expectations; do not force every visitor into one channel.

Record the handoff

A completed form or opened chat is not revenue. Assign each enquiry, preserve campaign and landing-page attribution, record response ownership and define when an unanswered conversation becomes a follow-up exception.

Verify availability and payment context

Show only availability and rates that the operating team can honour. Where booking or payment is involved, test reservation state, payment result, duplicate protection, cancellation context and staff visibility as one workflow.

Scale after the baseline is stable

Capture page speed, qualified enquiry completion, response time and direct-booking outcomes before changing spend. Review the route again after launch so campaign decisions follow operational evidence rather than clicks alone.
